RETIRED FARMER DIES AT HOME IN ST. ANSGAR
St. Ansgar – August F. Hollatz, 85 died Thursday at his home folloing a long illness. He was a retired farmer and had lived in St. Ansgar and vicinity for many years.

He leaves his widow and three daughters; Mrs. E. G. Graham, Jefferson; Mrs. Minnie Hansen, Minnepolis, Minn.; and Mrs. Clarence Horsfall, St. Ansgar; four grandchildren; four stepdaughters; Mrs. William F Lau, Northwood; Mrs. John Wahl, Waterloo; Mrs. William Ruebe, St. Ansgar; and Mrs. Clarence E Seath, Freeborn, Minnesota.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church , the Rev. Paul Brammer in charge. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery south of St. Ansgar.

August Hollatz was born January 3, 1860 in Germany, the son of August and Johanna (Rading) Hollatz. He married Maria Rosel. She died in 1909.
His second wife was Louise (Adams) Bolgrin, the widow of Frank Bolgrin.
