RICEVILLE, IOWA - Mary Lou Pospichal died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at her home in Riceville. She was 82 years of age.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the I.C. Church in Riceville, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Conway funeral Home in Riceville where there will be a Rosary at 4:30 p.m.

Mary Louise Pospichal was born on September 8, 1928, near Alta Vista, the daughter of Peter and Susan (Lentz) Hentges. On Feb. 10, 1947, Mary Lou was united in marriage to Francis Gerald Pospichal at St. Bernard's Church in Alta Vista.

She is survived by four daughters, Linda Wilkinson of Cedar Rapids, Laurie Jensen of Ridgeway, Mary (Linus) Luzum of Calmar, and Deb (Mike) Mayer of Lakeville, Minn.; two sons, Leo (Susan) of Delano, Minn., and Joe of Riceville; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Neuhauser of Rancho Santos Marguerita, Calif.

Preceding Mary Lou in death was her husband Gerald in 2007; a son Thomas in 1977; and a daughter, Cindy in 2007; five brothers: Clifford, Elroy, Paul, Robert and Reynold Hentges.
