Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Larson, 82, of Osage, were held January 11 at First Lutheran church, St. Ansgar with the Rev. Don Comnick officiating. Burial was at First Lutheran cemetery, St. Ansgar.

Alma Josephine Johnson, the daughter of Anton and Agnetta Johnson, was born May 14, 1886 in Mitchell County. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church at the proper age by the Rev. Johan Olsen.

She was united in marriage to Frank Larson June 7, 1911 at St. Ansgar. She had been previously employed as a school teacher in Mitchell and Worth Counties for a number of years.

She died at Mitchell Couty Memorial hospital Tuesday, January 9 after a brief illness. She had been a resident at Faith Lutheran Home, Osage prior to this time.

Mrs. Larson leaves to mourn, one sister, Mrs. Minnie Gordon, Carpenter; one brother, Clarence Johnson, Osage; besides a host of other friends and relatives.
