JOHN PAUL OF MCINTIRE DIES
AGED RESIDENT OF TOWN SUCCUMBS AFTER ILLNESS; RITES HELD

McIntire – John Paul, 72, died Saturday at his home one mile south of town following a short illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Methodist church with the Rev. Mr. Bodenham of Riceville in charge.

He is survived by his widow, one daughter; Mrs. Helen Burns; and five grandchildren; also the following half brothers and half sisters; Hattie Bowers; Agnes Paul; Jessie Tienken; Bertha Betts; Arthur and Levi Paul.

Burial was in the Wayne Cemetery at McIntire.
