The body of Charles DeLaney was laid to rest at St. Ansgar last Saturday afternoon, the funeral being conducted by the Reverend William Galbreath, of Plymouth, the deceased former pastor. The service was held at 1 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Robert Lubiens, a daughter.

Among the old friends who went from Osage to be present were Mrs. Chinn, Mrs. James Eckford, Misses Mame and Maggie Tobin, Mrs. Amos Hilton, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Titus, Chris Hanson, Robert Eckford, Frank Jacobs and O. E. Gallup. Relatives who were there were: Mr. and Mrs. J. D. DeLaney, Mr. and Mrs. Will DeLaney, Miss Emma DeLaney, Mr. and Mrs. James DeLaney, Mr. and Mrs. Lee DeLaney, and Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Mahone.

Deceased left St. Ansgar six years ago and went to Ventura, California, where he has since resided with his daughter, Mrs. Kate Crandall, whose health would not permit her to accompany the remains of her father to St. Ansgar.
