Anna (Theisen) Schaefer 1859-1935

MRS. SCHAEFER RITES HELD IN MEYER CHURCH

Stacyville, Jan 7 – Mrs. Anna Schaefer, 76, died at the home of her son, John, from heart disease.

Surviving are her five children; John; Matthew; Frank; Mrs. Aloysius Hemann; Mrs. Albert Blake; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday by the Rev. Eintringer in the Sacred Heart church at Meyer.

According to the 1925 Iowa Census for her son Math Schaefer his mothers maiden name was Theisen.
Anna married Peter Schaefer, the son of Mathias Schaefer and Anna Gilgenbach.
