Amber Howe 1883-1947

Osage – Amber Howe, 64, died Saturday, at Malden, Missouri, following a prolonged illness. A former resident of Cedar Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Everett J. Howe, who formerly owned the farm now known as the Alvin Roehr farm now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Eilers.

Mr. Howe was the last of his immediate family. His only brother, Lester died in 1921

He leaves his wife, the former Myrtle Lewis, who resided at the Al Kildee home in Osage, and five children. On son, Glenn, preceded him in death.

Amber E Howe was born August 14, 1883 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the son of Everett James Howe and Jeannette (Wilson) Howe.

He and his wife were buried in the Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, Stoddard Co., Missouri
