Funeral services for Hazel Belle Kittleson 99, a resident of Meadow Manor Nursing Home in Grand Meadow, Minnesota, who died Saturday, August 14, 1993, were held Tuesday, August 17, 1993 at the Grand Meadow Lutheran Church with Rev. Warren Diskerud officiating. Interment was in the First Lutheran Cemetery in St. Ansgar.

Hazel Lewis was born November 13, 1893 in Waltham, Minnesota, the daughter of Walter E. Lewis and Sarah Chapman Lewis. May 20, 1925 she married Ben Kittleson in Austin, Minnesota. The couple farmed in the St. Ansgar area until 1948. They then resided in Austin, Willmar, Minnesota and Osage before moving to Grand Meadow.

Mrs. Kittleson is survived by three sons, Kenneth of St. Ansgar; Lester of Owatonna, Minnesota; Gerald of Rochester, Minnesota; one daughter, Mrs. Roy (Mickey) Carter of Grand Meadow, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one granddaughter, two great granddaughters and one brother.
