Mrs. Simon Hanson, 80, Dies;
Funeral TuesdayOsage, Iowa — Mrs. Simon Hanson, 8O, died at her home Saturday after an illness with flu and complications,
She was born Bessie Johnson, January 25, 1863, at Rio, Wisconsin. As a small child she accompanied her parents to Adams, Minnesota, where she attended school. On her 18th birthday she married Simon Hanson, and they made their home near Stacyville.
To them were born nine children: Harry B. Hanson, Detroit, Michigan; B. Burt Hanson of West Union, twin girls. Bertha Hanson of West Union and Mrs. Walter Wright, Osage: Mrs. E. C. Ferguson, Adams. Minnesota, and Willard Hanson of West Union.
Charles, Will, and an infant daughter are deceased.
