#2:EDWARD ARNESON
DIES, COUNTY HOMEEdward Arneson, 80, died at the county home Sunday after an illness of several weeks. He had been cared for there for the past year. Mr. Arneson was born at Lyle, Minnesota, and spent nearly his entire life there. For many years he owned a farm southeast of Lyle, but gave that up when illness and old age prevented his operating it. He never married.
About five years ago Mr. Arneson froze his feet and he moved to Osage after that experience. He was a familiar figure on the street, until he was unable to care for himself and was taken to the county farm.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. J.O. Johnson of Lyle, and a brother, John Arneson of Minneapolis.
The remains were at the Shelledy funeral home until Tuesday, when they were taken to Lyle for funeral service at the Lutheran church. Burial was in the cemetery there.
