Osage – Funeral rites were held at Manly Wednesday for Caleb Stock, 71, of Kensett, former well known Osage resident who died in a Mason City hospital Saturday.

The Stocks farmed southeast of town for a number of years, and operated a dairy route in Osage before moving to Kensett 15 years ago.

He leaves a widow and six children, Russell and Everett Stock, both of Storm Lake; Emmett and Marcella, Decatur, Ill.; Walter Stock, Mason City; and Floyd Stock, Kensett.

Caleb Everett Stock age 42, living in Kensett, Worth, Iowa; born September 30, 1875; farmer; nearest relative, wife Marie.

In the 1900 Census he was living in Manly, Worth, Iowa and his parents are shown as Edwin born July 1816 in England and Ellen born November 1835 in Canada and Caleb E. born November 1875 in Iowa.
He married Mary Johnson according to her obit.
