R. CORNELIUS, FORMER LEROY MAN TAKES OWN LIFE

LeRoy, Minn. -- Raymond Cornelius, 45, who moved from LeRoy to Arlington a year ago, took his own life Friday.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Martz Funeral Home with burial in the LeRoy Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, five children, Mrs. Dale Orum, Waterloo; Roger, Austin; Lynette, Steven and Mitchell; his mother, Mrs. Thea Cornelius, in a Rochester hospital; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Hightshoe, Austin, and Mrs. Norval Aulwes, Albert Lea.

Raymond Edward Cornelius was born March 1, 1917 in Mower County, Minnesota, the son of Willie and Thea Cornelius. He married Juanita Jane Buttolph, the daughter of Clinton M. and Purley L. (Betts) Buttolph of McIntire, Iowa.
