RICEVILLE, IOWA — Louis H. Vogel, 87, of Riceville, died Thursday (Feb. 4, 1999) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Riceville. Burial will be in the spring at Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Conway Funeral Home, Riceville, with a Scripture service at 3 p.m. and a rosary immediately following.

Louis H. Vogel was born April 10, 1911, in Malcom.

Survivors include his wife, Doris; two daughters, Catherine Vogel, of Osage and Mary Brown, of Ankeny; two sons, David, of Riceville and Thomas, of Woodway, Texas; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
