FORMER OSAGE WOMAN DIES IN MINNEAPOLIS—FUNERAL THURSDAYOsage – Funeral services for Mrs. Earl Case, 74, will be held Thursday at the Champion Funeral home, with burial in the Osage Cemetery. She died at the Fairview Hospital at Minneapolis where she had been a patient since June 28 last year.
She was born in Wisconsin, daughter of Sanford and Martha (Bloomfield) Button. As a young girl she came with her parents to Riceville. She married earl Case in 1892 and they operated a restaurant in Riceville. They moved to Osage in 1897. Her husband died in 1943.
Surviving are a son Roy of Minneapolis; a daughter Mrs. Hazel Lezotte of Osage; 2 sisters and a brother.Mason City Globe Gazette, Wednesday January 8, 1947
