AGED OSAGE WOMAN ILL WHEN OVERCOME BY GAS

Osage – Mrs. L. A. Leeman is ill at her home and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. William Leeman, has been caring for her.

The 80 year old woman was washing dishes when her husband left for an errand downtown. It is thought that her dish towel caught on the gas stove, turning the jets. One of the roomers upstairs smelled gas and came down, turned off the jet, and when Mr. Leeman came home about 2 hours after he had gone, his wife was in a stupor.
