FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JOHN R. TUNE SUNDAY AT OSAGE

Osage – Funeral services for John R. Tune 79, have tentatively been schedules for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Champion Funeral Home Here.

He retired as a bookkeeper at International Harvester Co. in Chicago in 1959 and moved to Osage.

Survivors include his wife, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Henry Lunde, Osage; three step-grandsons; a brother, Edward, Beaver Creek, Oregon, and three sisters; Margaret Melberg and Minnie Tune, both of Marshalltown; and Della Bruce, Des Moines.

The Rev. Norman Brooks, pastor of the First Congregational Church, will officiate and burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

John Ray Tune was born March 9, 1884 in Minnesota, the son of John J and Lizzie Tune. He married Ruby Leeman, the daughter of Joseph and Martha (Bell) Leeman.
