Osage – Myron Tucker, 82, died Thursday night at the home. He had been ill the last six weeks and cared for by a daughter, Mrs. Oscar Anderson, with whom he had made his home the last 12 years.

Funeral services are indefinite, pending word from a son, but will be at the Champion Funeral Home, with burial in the Osage Cemetery.

He was born October 19, 1862, at Mitchell. He spent his boyhood in Mitchell and married Maud Shoars in 1886. The couple made their home in Osage all of their married life. His wife preceded him in death in 1918.
A carpenter, he had been active until the last few years.

He leaves one daughter; Mrs. Oscar Anderson, Osage; one son, Joe, Wichita, Kansas; two brothers, Fred, Osage; and Bert, Turkey River, Ia.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Myron Tucker, 82, died on Thursday night at th ehome of his daughter, Mrs. Oscar Anderson. He had been ill for the past six weeks and had been cared for by his daughter during that time.

Myron Tucker was born on October 19, 1862, at Mitchell, Iowa, and spent his boyhood there.

He was married to Maude Shoars in 1886. The couple made their home in Osage all their married life. Mrs. Tucker died in 1918. Mr. Tucker was a carpenter and had been active until the last few years.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Oscar Anderson of Osage; one son, Joe of Wichita, Kansas; and two brothers, Fred of Osage and Bert of Turkey River, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home, the Rev. Wallace Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Osage City Cemetery.
