Osage – Frank Jeffries, 75, died Friday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home with burial in the Osage Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, the former Elsie Kirgus; a son Leo, Osage; a daughter; Mrs. Arthur (Cleo) Green, Minneapolis; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters.

Frank Jeffries was born August 30, 1887 in Mitchell Co., Iowa, the son of George and Evvie (Wiseman) Jeffers. He married Elsie May Kirgus, the daughter of Andrew Kirgus and Matilda (Aldrich) Kirgus.
