EMIL BRAUN, 78, DIES AT OSAGE; RITES WEDNESDAY

OSAGE, IOWA – Emil Braun, 78, died Saturday at the Osage Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in St. Ansgar Cemetery. He was a retired farmer and painter.

Surviving are two sons, Arnold, Osage; Arthur, Medford, Oregon; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers and a sister.

Emil Albert Braun was born August 5, 1882 (World War I Draft Registration). He was the son of Fred and Tillie (Mielke) Braun, (1925 Iowa Census). He married Elizabeth Lemke. She passed away in 1921.
