FLORENCE LILLEY

Osage – Mrs. Florence L. Lilley, 83, a former resident of Osage, died Friday in Taft, Oregon. She was the widow of the Rev. James S. Lilley who died last June in Oregon.

Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Elizabeth Elliott, Ocean Lake, Oregon; Margaret Clark, Joliet, Illinois; Catherine Clark, Merced, California; a brother, William Johnson, Des Moines; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in Osage Cemetery.

Florence Lilley was born April 1881 in England, the daughter of John and Betsey (Fletcher) Johnson. (1900 US Census and 1925 Iowa Census). She married Rev. James Samuel Lilley.
