ALAN G. ZACHARDA

BELLCAMP, MARYLAND - Alan G. Zacharda, 46, formerly of St. Ansgar, died Monday, January 31, 2000, at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, Maryland.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, at the United Methodist Church in St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Ted Stowers officiating. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, 207 S. School St., in St. Ansgar is in charge of arrangements.

Alan was born on July 29, 1953, in Osage, the son of George and Leona (Cummings) Zacharda. He graduated from St. Ansgar Community High School in 1971. He then entered into the United States Navy and served his country in Vietnam.

Alan lived in the Baltimore metro area attending college in the area. He was employed in the computer industry.

Memorials may be directed to the family who are establishing a memorial fund.

Alan was preceded in death by his father and infant brother, Michael.

He is survived by his mother, Leona Zacharda of St. Ansgar; maternal grandmother, Viola Cummings of St. Ansgar; two sisters, Linda Reeves of Denver and Kathy Rezabek and her husband, Ron, of Mason City; two nieces, Heather Reeves and Lindsay Sanchez; two nephews, Ryan Reeves and Brock Rezabek; and many friends in the Baltimore area.
