Services were held on Monday, February 20, 1984, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville, Iowa, for a former Riceville man, Dan E. Fuoss, 78, who died on Wednesday, February 15, 1984, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Rev. G. Hemesath officiated at the service, with burial in Riverside Cemetery (Riceville, Iowa).

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Gloria) Metcalf of Colorado Springs; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters and a sister, Mrs. Roy (Mary) Bohnstengel, Traer.
