OSAGE, IOWA -- Funeral rites are pending for Edward Blonigan, 48, World War II veteran, who died suddenly at 6, Monday evening, while engaged in his profession tiling near North Washington. The body is at Champion Funeral Home.

He was born at New Haven, Mitchell county, Iowa on December 22, 1902, to Philip and Ann (Weber) Blonigan. Edward completed his education in local schools and farmed prior to entry in World War II.

He married Darlene Rawson on September 7, 1944, and the couple has lived in Osage.

He leaves his wife; two daughters, Margaret, 5, and Maureen, 17 months; his father; a brother, Anthony, all of Osage; and two sisters, Mrs. John Desch, Rudd, and Mrs. Sam Bonoff.
