Herman Rekow
OSAGE — Herman Rekow 78, of Osage, died Wednesday (Jan. 15, 1992) at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Roger Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 3 p.m. today at Champion Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife Evelyn Rekow of Osage; five daughters, Mrs. Kei (Phyllis) Wei, Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Jeffrey (Rose) Smith, and Mrs. Morris (Shirley) Goddard, both of Nashua, Mildred Rekow, Mason City, and Mrs. Jerry (Sandra) Clausen, Eyota, Minn., two sisters, Mrs. Keith (Bertha) Lancial, Council Bluffs, and Ruth Rekow, Mason City; brother, Raymond Rekow, St. Paul, Minn.; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Herman Rekow was born July 14, 1913 Kensett, Worth County, Iowa, the son of Otto C Rekow and Rose (Amundson) Rekow.
He married Evelyn Schmidt, the daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth (Schilling) Schmidt.
