Isabella (Brost) Folz 1904-1973

ISABELLA FOLZ Rozellville:

Services for Mrs. Isabella A. Folz, 83, Stratford, who died at 4:15p.m.Monday at St Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield, will be held Friday at 10:30 am at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville.

The Rev. Joseph H. Konopacky and the Rev., Donald F. Wilger, a chaplain at St. Joseph's Hospital will officiate. Music will be provided by Amy Folz, a granddaughter,who will be the soloist, Silvan Griesbach, a nephew, who will be the organist, and St. Andrew's Church Choir. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Dale, Dean, Todd, Brian, Steve, Tim and Ricky Folz and David Caamano. Granddaughters, Cindy Kline, Roxanne, Susan, Tammy, Amy and April Folz and Michelle Caamano, will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel, Marshfield, at 4p.m. today and then at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday. A parish Scripture rosary service combined with a St. Andrew's Confraternity of Christian Mothers rosary service and a St. Andrew's Parish council of Catholic Women rosary service will be at 7:30p.m. tonight at the funeral chapel.

She was born May 27,1908 in Stacyville,Iowa, to the late Lambert and Margaret (May) Brost. She moved to Rozellville as a child with her parents in 1919 and attended St. Andrew's Parochial School there. She was married to Joseph M. Folz October 9,1928 at St Andrew's Catholic Church and he died October 19,1973.

After her marriage, she and her husband farmed in the town of Day until 1971. They then retired, but continued to reside in the town of Day. She prepared and served school lunches in the school lunch program for the former ST. Andrew's Parochial School for five years. She also was employed at the Buck-A-Neer Supper Club,
Rozellville, from March 1973 until March 1990. She had been admitted to the hospital Dec 10.

She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, St. Andrew's Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She was a member and a former president of the former St. Anne's Society of St. Andrew's . She had served as its president in 1955,1957,1968 and 1973.

Survivors include four sons, Virgil and Kenneth, both of Stratford, Victor of Marshall, MI and Dr. S.D.(Bud) of Kalamazoo,MI; two daughters, Dr. Bernice Folz of Minneapolis,MN and Mrs. Jerry (Kathleen) Caamano of Joliet, IL, three
sisters, Mrs. Loretta Griesbach of Stratford, Mrs. Henry (Dorothy) Linzmeier of
Auburndale and Mrs. Gust (Delphina) Bleichrot of Muskego, WI.; two brothers, Leo and Lawrence
Brost, both of Marshfield; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.
