Gerald Roy "Bud" Eschweiler

RICEVILLE, IOWA — Gerald Roy "Bud" Eschweiler, 67, died Friday (July 3, 1998) at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn., due to complications during surgery.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Riceville, with the Rev. Matthew Versemann officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, with the prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Gerald Roy "Bud" Eschweiler was born Feb. 14, 1931, in Howard County.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine of Riceville; three sons, Gregg of Tripoli, Doug of Waverly, Jerry of Algonquin, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Erma Jean Lowe of New Hampton and Lou Ann Simon of Stacyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two sisters.
