RICEVILLE — Myrtle C. Schwake, 81, of Riceville, died Wednesday (July 1, 1998) at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Riceville, with the Rev. Matthew Verseman officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery at Riceville.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Conway Funeral Home, Riceville.

Myrtle C. Schwake was born Feb. 6, 1917, in Howard County.

Survivors include her stepmother, Pearl Eiffler, of Riceville; three brothers, Herbert Eiffler and Wilfred Eiffler, both of Reinbeck, and Melvin Eiffler, of Lime Springs; and one sister, Viola Frahm, of Riceville.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
