RICEVILLE — Ruby Ester Weida, 73, died Monday (Aug. 31, 1998) at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, with the Rev. Herschel Hawf officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Lindstrom Funeral Home.

Ruby Ester Weida was born Oct. 5, 1924, in Medina, N.D.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen Praska, of Charles City; Kathy Panovec, of Des Moines; and Karolyn Huisman, of Osage; four sons, Jerome, of Traer; Johnny, of Kewanee, Ill.; Charles, of Riceville; and Tommy of Traer; 35 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchldren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and two sisters.
