WOODS.
Hannah Christine Isaacs, daughter of Robert and Johannah Palm Isaacs, was born on February 5, 1882, and died at her home on November 13, 1909, after a long and lingering illness extending over a period of five months.
She spent her childhood on her father's farm, completing her education in the rural schools, and afterwards was a student at the Cedar Valley Seminary for two terms.
Deceased was married to Mervin R. Woods, December 19, 1900 and always resided near her birthplace.
Besides a loving husband she leaves to mourn her death, an aged father and mother, four sisters and five brothers, two sisters and two brothers having passed on to the Great Beyond.
She had beautiful character and her patience, humility and charity endeared her to all. While she lived a faithful life she will be sorely missed for her life was so useful her place can hardly be filed.
But she is gone and all that remains to the many who knew and loved her is a sweet memory.
The funeral services were held at the house at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, conducted by Rev. Urnes after which the remains were tenderly laid in the Osage cemetery, by loving hands. A large number of sorrowing friends and relatives attending to pay a last sad tribute to the dear departed.
The many floral offerings were beautiful and profuse.
Those attending the funeral from a distance were sisters, Mrs. Mary Tustenrud of Ellsworth, Minnesota, and Mrs. Nellie Torgerson of Church's Ferry, N.D., and brother Edward Isaacs and wife of Buchanan, North Dakota.
