RITES TUESDAY FOR ERDMANN
St. Ansgar Man Dies Following Illness; Survived by Family

St. Ansgar – Erwin Walter Erdmann, 45, died at his home Saturday afternoon. Mr. Erdmann had been ill for several years.

He leaves his wife and three sons, Philip, Howard and Roger; his mother, Mrs. Mary Erdmann of St. Ansgar and three sisters, Mrs. Erwin Ehlke of Hewitt, Minn.; Mrs. George Dieterich of Rudd; and Mrs. Lawrence Tesch of Mitchell.

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist church at St. Ansgar with the Rev. W. F. Belling in charge. Burial will be at Kensett.

Erwin Walter Erdmann was born April 3, 1895 in Mitchell, Iowa, the son of Gustav and Mary (Langrock) Erdmann. He married Irene Ada Steiger on November 27, 1926, the daughter of Anton Steiger and Anna Louise (Fisher) Steiger.
