KENNETH FREDERICK PINT

Kenneth Frederick Pint was born May 23, 1926 at Osage, Iowa the son of Lawrence Casper Pint and Helena Martha Koschmeder.

Kenneth and Bertilla Marie Isaac were married July 16, 1947 at Visitation Church in Stacyville. Kenneth and Lawrence Pint ran the Farmers Inn which was located in the basement of the Cleveland Hotel until 1974 when it was moved to the north side of Main Street in the 700 block. They were in the Cleveland Hotel building for 29 years. The Farmers Inn remained in the family after Kenneth’s death until 1988. His wife, Bert, sold it at that time.

In earlier years, Kenneth had a garbage route in Osage from 1947 – 1955. He also had a freight route from the railroad until the depot closed and Iowa Parcel was started in Osage, Both Kenneth and Bert have driven school bus. Kenneth drove from 1947 – 1975.

Kenneth and Bert had seven children: Curtiss, (married Louis Jean Hengesteg) Pamela, (Married Tom Gast) LuAnn, (married Bruce Wayne Budahn, Lynda, (married Larry Eugene Johnson) Lynn, Gwen, (Married Mark Allyn Driscoll) and Neil.

Kenneth died June 24, 1975 at Osage. He is buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
