MRS. TORNEY, 64, DIES NEAR OSAGE; SERVICES TO BE HELD SATURDAY

Osage, Sept. 29th – Mrs. A. R. Torney, 64, died at her farm home two miles south of Osage yesterday morning, following a long illness from paralysis.

Mrs. Torney, whose maiden name was Pauline Erickson, daughter of Edward and Carrie Erickson was born in Rock Creek community.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Ernest and Raymond; two daughters, Miss Gail Torney, who has cared for her mother at home; Mrs. Charles Graham, two brothers; Carl Erickson of Nora Springs and Peter of Osage and four grandchildren. A service conducted by the Rev. J. D. Kern of the Baptist church, will be held at the Shelledy funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m.
