Osage – Funeral rites were here Monday for Henry Chatman, 91, who died Friday at his home in Osage. He had been a semi-invalid for some time. He was born to Moses and Rachael Chatman in Floyd County. He married Charlotte Ann Maxham. The couple farmed for many years in Floyd and Mitchell counties, moving to Osage some time ago.

He leaves his wife and a son, Melbern Chatman, Waterloo. He was the lat member of a family of 10.

According to the 1900 Census, he was born April 1861 in Iowa and Lottie was born November 1868 in Iowa.
