MRS. W. H. DUNCOMB FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY

Riceville – Funeral services for Mrs. W. H. Duncomb were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church. Mrs. Duncomb, who would have been 83 years old in July, died Friday after being an invalid for many years. Mr. Duncomb preceded his wife in death in 1932.

Surviving are six sons: Roy of LuVerne, Minn.; William of Chester; George of Geneva, Ill.; Ralph of Osage; Paul of Tripoli and Burton of the Hawaiian Islands. Two daughters, Mildred Duncomb and Mrs. Hattie Lindfield, preceded their mother in death. Three children died in infancy.

Sarah Jane (McCaughey) Duncomb was born July 18, 1860 in Monroe County, Wisconsin, the daughter of George McCaughey and Margaret (White) McCaughey. She married William Henry Duncomb 1850-1932.
