Toeterville: Herman C Tesch, 85, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Sonberg, in Osage, where he had been cared for since Dec. 15. Death was due to cerebal hemmorrhage.

Born in Germany he accompanied his parents to Wisconsin, later moving to a farm southwest of St. Ansgar where they lived for several years before moving to a farm near Toeterville where his brother, Otto, now resides.

Mr. Tesch was married October 17, 1895 to Edith Mueller. The couple lived at Welcome, Minn., for eight years, then returned to the Toeterville community where they lived on various farms until 1927 when they purchased their present farm.

Besides the widow and daughter, he leaves six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brother, Otto, and a sister, Mrs. August Ruechel of st. Ansgar.
