Osage Merchant

OSAGE, IOWA — Frank Kingsbury, 73, retired Osage hardware merchant, died late Thursday morning at his home here of complications of age.

He moved to Osage in 1916 to be associated with his father, W. B., in the Kingsbury hardware. He sold the business in 1951.

He is survived by his widow; three children: Mrs. Edson Moore, Ft. Dodge, Bruce, Minneapolis, Minn., and Robert, Arcadia, Calif.; his mother, Mrs. Anna Kingsbury, Winnebago, Minnesota; and four brothers.

Funeral services are tentatively set for Monday afternoon.

NOTE:
A May 30, 1951 Waterloo Courier article about the Kingsbury store says "Frank Kingsbury was born in Fayette county in 1884. He worked in a bank at West Union before coming to Osage in 1916, to the hardware store."
