JACOB POPP dies in St. Paul; Rites in Manly
Manly---Jacob Popp, 68, died Friday morning at a St. Paul hospital. He had not recovered from a hip fracture suffered two months ago. He was the son of John and Katherine (Fitzl) Popp, formerly of Manly.
Funeral services services at the Sacred Heart Church in Manly are incomplete. Burial will be in Osage.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Harriett Kamish and Helen Boose; Seven Brothers, Lawrence, Rocheser, Minn.; Rudolph, Ed, and Walter, Mason City; John and Frank, Manly; David, Nekoosa, Wis.; six sisters; Josie Stangler, Manly; Martha Paul, Mason City; Anna Weaverling and Katherine Kollmann, Osage; Barbara VanHooster, Davenport; Bertha Clayton, Houston, Mo.; and eight grandchildren.
