Funeral services for John Casey, who died July 13, were conducted Tuesday by Father Martain. Mr. Casey was born in Ireland on July 9, 1841, and moved to the United States when eight years old.

In March 1869, he was married to Eleanor C. Waters. Of eight children born to them four died in childhood.
