Lawrence Joseph Pint, age 68, of Osage, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a scripture wake service at 7:00 p.m.
Larry was born November 5, 1941, in Osage, the son of John A. and Edna (Cockrum) Pint. He attended Mitchell School and graduated from Osage Community High School in 1960. Larry was united in marriage to Bonnie Lee Ballard on April 16, 1966, at Immaculate Conception Church in Charles City. Larry worked at Oliver, Osage Motor Supply and Tops Business Forms. He enjoyed Nascar and stock car racing, car shows, golf, gardening, touring car lots, tinkering in the garage, rebuilding minibikes, and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to all those who have been supportive during the past year. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed in Larry’s name to, Patient Advocate Foundation, for support with co-pay and/or coinsurance payments related to cancer treatment. Larry is survived by his wife, Bonnie Pint of Osage; his daughter, Joan (Tony) Brucha of Denver, CO; his son, Steve (Theresa) Pint of Marion; and was Best Papa to grandchildren, Erin and Adam Pint;
his sister, Barbara (Noel) Omlar of Melbourne, FL; his brothers, John D. (Barbara) Pint of Mitchell, Fred Pint of Garland, TX, Ron (Connie) Pint of Osage; He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Irma Jean Pint
