Church Monday, December 7Funeral services for Alfred A. Wolff, 72, of St. Ansgar, who died Friday, December 4, 1987, at a Rochester, Minnesota hospital, were held Monday, December 7 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar with the Reverend Norman Betke officiating.
Mr. Wolff was born October 4, 1915 in Tripoli, the son of Amiel and Louise (Bahlman) Wolff. He was baptized into the Christian faith November, 1915, and Confirmed May 24, 1929 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Douglas Township, Bremer County, instructed by the Reverend Rehiem. He moved with his parents in 1929 to St. Ansgar and became and remained a life long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He married Mary Hobbs November 2, 1935 at Osage.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of St. Ansgar; two sons, Ronald of Louisville, Kentucky and Larry of St. Ansgar; a daughter, Mrs. Leslie (Linda) Brych of Orchard; one sister, Margaret Juenger of Gary, Indiana; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one grandson.
Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
