OSAGE, IOWA — Wendell A. "Wad" Duncan, 79, of Osage, died Tuesday (April 14, 1998) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage.

Wendell A. "Wad" Duncan was born July 24, 1918, in Mitchell.

Survivors include his wife, Karen, of Osage; one daughter, Janelle Duncan, of Osage; one son, James Duncan, Portland, Ore.; one sister, Ardella Dennis, of Fulton, Texas; and one brother, Lavon Duncan, of Ankeny, and one stepgranddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
