OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral rites were held here Wednesday for Edna Emmett. She was born in New York, on May 25, 1876, and died on November 25, 1945, at Palm Beach, Florida.

She came to Osage with her parents when she was a baby. Graduated from the Osage high school, from Iowa State Teachers college, and taught in rural school, at Osage, and Minneapolis.

She became ill two years ago; was hospitalized at Rochester and in Osage, and left in September, 1945, to make home with her brother, Roy, in Lake Worth, Florida.
