Harold and his wife Laura moved to Mitchell later in their lives, and they had Laura's mother living with them until she passed away.

Harold worked for farmers in the area, had a metal working shop at his home in Mitchell. And he also worked for the Street Dept. in Mitchell and drove the City Road Grader for years.

Harold Aleridge, 91, died Monday, January 15, 2001, at the Riceville Community Rest Home.

The funeral will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, with the Rev. Michael Carey officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell.
