FUNERAL SERVICES OF ST. ANSGAR MAN TO BE HELD TUESDAY

St. Ansgar---Funeral services for Herbert Rowland, Sr., 68, who died Saturday evening of a heart attack, following an illness of three weeks, will be held at the Methodist church hee Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. W. F. Belling will be in charge. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar cemetery.

Mr. Rowland, a retired mail carrier, was born on a farm northeast of St. Ansgar, and had been a resident of this community all his life.

The son of Henry and Jennie Rowland, he was the last member of the family. Three brothers Arthur, Adrian and Charles, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Sonberg and Mrs. Phoebe Burroughs, preceded him in death.

Surviving are hiw wife and two sons, William of Osage and Herbert Rowland, Jr., of Waterloo, and four grandchildren.
