Ward Kephart

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 11, 1988 at Conway Funeral Home in Riceville, for Ward Kephart, 61, rural Riceville. Burial was in Wayne Cemetery at McIntire. Mr. Kephart died Saturday, October 8, 1988 at his home, of natural causes.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Riceville; one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Mary) Reed of Miami, Florida; three sons, Jerry of Joice and Russell and Randy both of Osage; two stepsons, Gary Switzer of Chaska, Minnesota, and Duane Switzer of Shakopee, Minnesota; four sisters, Helen Krunwiede and Shirley Sarago both of Costa Mesa, California, Virginia Maloney of San Diego, California and Bonnie Kephart of California; four brothers, Kenneth of Riceville, Jim of Swaledale, Keith of Fort Dodge and Larry of Yorba Linda, California; and four grandchildren.
