Leland Klemesrud Andrews [ca.1921-1924]

Another Babe Taken

Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Andrews of near Orchard were called upon Sunday morning to make the supreme sacrifice of parenthood when their baby, Leland Klemesrud Andrews only a little past two years of age, was transplanted to God's garden, where the flowers never die.

The little one had been frail since and birth and so called out all the love and devotion that human hearts could give. The best physicians and surgeons had been consulted and all said that good care and love was all that could avail, but measles, followed by pneumonia, ended in death. The funeral service was held yesterday afternoon at Immanuel Lutheran church, Rev. S. Vang officiating, and the little one was tenderly laid away in our ______ of the dead.

THE HAROLD ANDREWS
LOST LITTLE SON
MONDAY MORNING

The 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Andrews passed away Monday morning at 6:30 o'clock, after a severe illness of about a week.

The child has been frail since birth, but during the past year seemed to be gaining in strength. Measles, followed by pneumonia, caused his death.

The baby, Leland Klemesrud, was their only child, and the young couple have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.

Funeral services will be held from the Immanuel Lutheran Church on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 and burial made in the local cemetery.
