ITEM #4:Farmer Killed by Corn Picker
GRAFTON, IOWA - Paul O. Behl, 55, farmer 6 miles southeast of here in Mitchell County, was killed in a corn picking accident Friday. His body was found by his wife who went to the field to get him at 12:20 p.m. when he failed to show up for lunch. The engine of the tractor was still running.
Dr. R. L. Whitley, Mitchell County coroner, said death was caused by stangulation caused when
Behl's clothes became tangled in the picker, drawing the body into the machine, the sweater and coat winding around until the pressure strangled him.Mr. Behl went alone into the field at 10 a.m., and it is believed the accident happened shortly afterwards as little corn had been picked. Apparently he had reached into the machine to remove some husks which were clogging it.
Survivors include the wife, four daughters, Mrs. Dan Morris and Mrs. Myrna Behl of Mason City and Maxine and Jeannette, at home.

ITEM #5:
Grafton Man Is Killed in Corn Picker
Grafton, Iowa - Funeral services for Paul O. Behl, 55, farmer near St. Ansgar, who was fatally injured Friday in a mechanical corn picker, will be 2 p.m. Monday in Immanuel Lutheran Church at St. Ansgar. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Behl had gone out alone with the picker about 10 a.m. Friday. His body, entangled with the machine, was found by his wife at 12:20 p.m. when she went to the field to call him for lunch.
Dr. R. L. Whitely, Mitchell County coroner, said Behl died of strangulation.
The farmer apparently reached into the machine to exricate some tangled stalks and some part of his clothing caught, drawing him into the picker, Dr. Whitley said. Little corn had been picked indicating that the accident occurred shortly after Behl entered the field, the coroner said.
Behl is survived by his widow, the former Rosa Groth of St. Ansgar; four daughters, Mrs. Dean Morris and Merna Behl, Mason City; Maxine and Jeanette, at home; two brothers and one sister.
The body is at the Schroeder and Houg Funeral Home at St. Ansgar.
