PIONEER DIES AT ST. ANSGAR

W. B. Dockstader Was Veterinarian for Many Years; Rites Planned

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — W. B. Dockstader, 87, died Saturday morning of a lingering illness at the home of his son, Dr. Wilmer Dockstader, St. Ansgar.

Mr. Dockstader was a veterinarian at Otranto for many years.

Married for 65 years to Anna Plowan [SIC s/b Plowman], Mr. and Mrs. Dockstader had been making their home for the past months at the home of their son, Wilmer and family here.

Surviving are his wife, Anna; four sons, Wilmer, Ivan, Harry and Hall; three daughters, Mrs. Harry Putnam, Garnett, Kansas; Mrs. Arthur Amble, Dwight, North Dakota; Mrs M. A. Hocum, Forest City, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of his son, Wilmer, at St. Ansgar, and burial will be made in the east cemetery here. The funeral services will be in the charge of Rev. W. F. Belling, pastor of the Methodist church at St. Ansgar,
