Clara Wall, age 90, of Osage, died Sunday, April, 4, 2010, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a rosary at 5:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Mitchell County Food Bank.

Clara was born March 11, 1920, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Gerhard and Alma (Hemming) Tegeler. She was united in marriage to Harold Wall on June 14, 1947, in Dyersville. They lived in Jesup, where they owned and operated a retail store. In 1953, they moved to St. Ansgar, where they opened the Economy Store. They moved to Osage in 1959, where they opened another Economy Store, which they operated until retiring in 1979. Clara was a member and volunteered whenever she could at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and took part in Bible Study. Clara enjoyed quilting, baking, sewing and reading.

Survivors include her children, Sharon Kleckner of St. Ansgar, Mark (Pam) Wall of Des Moines, Mike (Kathy) Wall of Phoenix, Arizona, David Wall of San Diego, California, Mary (Jerry) Dunlay of Osage; 11 grandchildren, Ethan Kleckner, Ailey Brehmer, Ari-Anne Fuchtman, Abbey Strum, Addam Wall, Dylan Wall, Alex Wall, Hayley Wall, Hannah Linn, Sady Dunlay, Max Dunlay; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joe Tegeler of Quincy, Illinois, Ralph (Bernie) Tegeler of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Leo (Lorraine) Tegeler of Dubuque; two sisters, Millie Conzett of Dubuque, and Ethel McCready of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold in 1992; and a sister, Catherine Tegeler.
