She had a keen interest in traveling and visited many places of interest.

On May 10, 1942, she was united in marriage to Carrol A. Ford of Minneapolis, formerly of Orchard. They went at once to their new home in Minneapolis.

On March 9, 1945, she entered a sanatorium at Oak Terrace, Minn., and died at the same place February 23, 1946.
